Man of Bats

I wrote this short the morning we shot Sude’s and everyone hated the first draft. So, much like the main character of this short, it sat in a pile with all my loser scripts until one day I thought of the whole Superman angle thing. There was also a scene that we filmed that was conversation between Batman and a clown at the birthday party, who turns out to be the guy beating up his girlfriend in the end. I might put that on a DVD or upload here.

Thanks to all the Elon kids for helping out and of course Matt and Luke for walking around a college campus in there respective costumes. Many LOLs.

Can you count all the Batman references in this?

   Not bad. I have to say my favorite part was him whipping his cape around and almost disappearing after getting the money from the mom. I also enjoyed the “Hell No! That guy could have a gun or something.” Towards the end the film reminded me of “Kick-Ass.”
