PLOT: Basically the best way to describe is a romantic comedy filmed like a horror film. This movie does not imitate life, this movie imitates fantasy. Michael (Erik Button) falls for a girl (Erica Afanador) who isn’t exactly what she seems. Michael consults his good friends Greg (Matthew Willets), Ryan (Gareth Livesay), and Peter (Brandon Creech) for life and relationship advice. There’s a lot of subplots.
STORYTIME: So after we filmed the fightscene we had a bunch of fake blood left over. Not intelligent high school Erik decided to pour this out on the front steps of Williams. That night a neighbor noticed a window was open at the school so she called the police. When the police arrived they see this pool of what appears to be blood. Because I’m the luckiest boy in the world someone also attempted to kill themselves a block away so they brought the whole homicide unit of the Burlington Police department to investigate. One of the neighbors IDed one of my actors and so I ended up taking the blame. Thankfully cops are actually pretty since and kind of have a since of humor.
NOTESSSSSS:
After everything was finished we got to premiere this film at Graham cinema and eventually at Western Carolina. This was definitely one of the coolest freaking experiences of my life. To see your film on the big screen and have a ton of people come and watch makes every terrible, horrific thing about film making more than worth it. At the premiere the guy who runs the theater was completely smashed and loved out film and told me and Matt the most uncomfortable story of all time.
