Hearts and Handguns

Hearts and Handguns

PLOT: A goes to his friend for advice about a movie script he wrote.  His friend gives him a few notes…

Now notes:

I think anyone who makes movies can relate to this film. Someone told me this film is a insanely warped version of reality, I disagree.

Then Notes:

When I wrote a large part of this I was pretty angry about some dumb things like girls and the fact that no one really cares about my dumb hobby of film making, so I wrote this to make myself feel better. In the grander scheme of things I guess this movie was just trying to capture the spirit of the old movies I used to make (even though they are TERRIBLE) and how I used to not be so damn preachy. Also this movie has no redeeming characters in it, which is pretty weird for me but I think they all played off of each other pretty well. This might be the first time I ever wrote a movie script and portrayed it pretty closely as to how I had it in my head.

Also DO check out Eric Ayotte’s new album for free, which we took the end credit music for. ifyoumakeit.com/album/eric-ayotte/self-titled/

Also if you see Kristi Ray or Luke Gunn give them a high five for being such great sports about my stupid script. And if you see me or Matt hug us big for editing this thing in one epic night. I really hope you all enjoy this film as much as I enjoyed making it.

  1. Cyril Smith says:

Avatar is really a great movie and i watched it at least 4 times. the movie also gives an emphasis on mother nature.

  2. I haven’t seen all these films, but this one seems to be my favorite so far. I really like the quick edit of dude eating sandwich as “Firestorm.” Also, “Alex’s” reasoning of what guy’s she likes and attraction was great and reminded me of times back in high school.
